It is a soluble insecticide which contains 50% Cartap Hydrochloride active ingredient and balance adjuvants. Cartap hydrochloride 50% S.P. is an insecticide highly effective for the control of stem borer and leaf folder on rice. Cartap has a quite different mode of action from that of other insecticides. It is effective against both chewing and sucking insects and controls at a low concentration. Cartap hydrochloride controls almost all stages of insects and the efficacy of Cartap hydrochloride is prolonged. It has no effect to nature enemies of insect pests and it is practically nontoxic to mammals.

Direction of Use: Application Method-Broadcasting
Rice: Recommended dosage for granule should be broadcasted using hand operated granule applicator or mechanical dispenser. Standing water of 2-3 cm depth should be available in the field. Keep water impounded for 2-3 days after application.
Sugarcane: Recommended dose should be applied in the furrows at planting time or 40-45 days after planting along with the furrows.
Spray uniformly or apply as recommended in field conditions
Maintain proper field moisture and follow recommended practices for best results
