Benefit:

  • Provides broad-spectrum control of tough weeds (grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges), reducing competition for nutrients, water, and light in rice fields.
  • Improves rice crop yield and quality by eliminating weed interference early, leading to healthier plants and higher harvests.
  • Long-lasting weed suppression with systemic action, preventing regrowth and offering residual effects for cleaner fields.
  • Reduces labour costs associated with manual weeding or multiple herbicide applications.
  • Enhances water use efficiency in paddy fields by minimizing weed competition.
  • Selective action that is safe for rice when applied as directed (does not harm the crop at recommended stages and doses).
  • Quick visible results: Weeds stop growing immediately, turn yellow, and die completely within days to weeks.

Features:

  • Bispyribac sodium 10% SC (Suspension Concentrate) – selective, systemic, post-emergence broad-spectrum herbicide.
  • Systemic uptake: Absorbed through leaves and roots, translocates within the plant to kill it from the inside.
  • Fine particle size for easy dilution, good sprayability, and high bioefficiency.
  • Rainfast properties: Good absorption even if light rain occurs after application.
  • Compatible with various rice systems: Transplanted, direct-seeded (wet or dry), and nursery stages.

Usage:

  • Spray uniformly in the direction of wind and ensure proper coverage of the weeds. It is recommended to use Flat fan flood jet nozzle against the target weeds.
  • Timing: Apply post-emergence when weeds are at the 2-5 leaf stage (typically 15-20 days after sowing/transplanting in rice). Optimal for active weed growth.
  • Dosage: 80-120 ml per acre (up to 150 ml in heavy infestation cases); dilute in appropriate water volume
  • Frequency: One spray only in a crop cycle
